The desire and ecstasy to produce a set of students that will glitter gave birth to the school, Orion Academy. The school that started with 11 students (2 females and 9 males) and 9 teachers has grown in limb and bounds even though; there are still large areas to cover.

Orion Academy has well crafted and designed curricular and co-curricular activities for her learners. The curricular activities are split into Junior Secondary category and senior secondary category.

At the Junior category, the following subjects are offered; Mathematics, English language, Social studies, Christian Religious Studies, History, Physical and Health Education, Agricultural Science, Home Economics, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Basic Technology, Basic Science, Civic Education, Yoruba Language.

The Senior Secondary category offers subjects such as: Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Animal Husbandry, Geography, Literature-in-English, Christian/Islamic Religious Studies, Yoruba Language, Civic Education, Financial Account, Commerce, Data Processing, Technical Drawing, Food and Nutrition, Marketing, Government, History, Music, French Language

The co-curricular activities organized by the school are Taekwondo, Ballet, Chess, Scrabble, Drama (Interest-based) and JETS, Literary & Debate, Press club (Academic-based) Learners engage in entrepreneurship training such as Garment Making, Leather works in which dresses, sandals, belts, bags were made by the learners.

In addition sporting activities are not left out such as; Football, Vollyball, Basketball and Indoor games was part of the school activities. Since inception, the school has been presenting students for internal and external examinations like NECO (BECE). WAEC, GCE, JAMB, SAT etc. The school has been recording great success in all these examinations to the glory of God.
